The annual report reflects on the work of Council, City staff and community partners. As the City enters the final year of its 2022-2026 Strategic Plan, more than 90 per cent of planned actions are complete or on track for completion by the end of 2026. The report highlights this progress and the many projects and initiatives helping build a vibrant, sustainable and inclusive community.
Highlights of the 2025-2026 Community Report include:
Adoption of the new Official Plan
Continued transit expansion and fleet modernization as T3 Transit marked 20 years of service
The City’s first-ever Accessibility and Inclusion Expo, featuring more than 30 community organizations and service providers
Progress on implementing the Climate Action Plan, including the launch of the online Climate Action Tracker
Major investments and upgrades in parks, recreation and community spaces
